Discover the Legacy of CTF
History of the Choong-Sil Taekwondo Federation (CTF)
Founded in 1984 by Grand Master Robert H. Hardin, a 9th Degree Black Belt, the CTF evolved from the Mid American Taekwondo Centers (MATC). Grand Master Hardin integrated a goal-oriented philosophy into the Choong Sil Taekwondo system, completing the unique pattern system in 1995.
Today, the CTF includes schools nationwide, with its headquarters in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas, providing a retreat for training camps and black belt events. The organization’s affiliation with the World Tae Kwon-Do Association further solidifies its global presence and commitment to traditional Tae Kwon-Do.
